Skiing & Snowboarding

The Upper Black Forest is famous for its many winter sports facilities and locations. Many ski areas attract skiers and snowboarders to the beautiful region during the cold months of winter.

ATTENTION: A ski slope, a sled run, and entrances for cross-country ski trails are located just a few hundred meters from the Lodge.

More than 700km of Trails

In the Upper Black Forest, over 700 km of cross-country ski trails are maintained daily by more than 22 track-setters. It‘s an Eldorado for cross-country skiers and skaters. The entire cross-country trail system has been certified by the German Skiing Association, and has been uniformly signposted. Most of the cross-country tracks are traditional, and also suitable for skaters. Various cross-country houses and shelters are available along the way.
